I've been there multiple times and the food is always excellent. The cajun bloody mary is a nice treat. It's a cool funky place with a ton of beers that rotate often. Try the eggs bene, one of the dutch babies, or my favorite – the corned beef hash. Helpful? Thank jwicker667 Report

When we travel we always like to explore and find new places we've never tried. Which is what brought us to Beer Kitchen. The wait wasn't long even on a busy Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised with how small the placed was. Especially when the host said it'll be about 10 minutes and the place was packed!! In about 7 minutes we were seated and had beers in front of ourselves. I enjoyed a local beer and the wife had something in a green bottle. I ordered the oven fried chicken with roasted brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Because the wife who hardly ever orders meat orders the sandwich I told her I was going to order called the Hogtied. Which turned out to be the best thing ordered that night. It was bbq burnt ends with black forest ham, smoked bacon aioli, and a pickle relish. It's reminiscent of a Cuban sandwich. The oven fried chicken was ok, but lacked a flavorful exterior. It was just bland, but tender and very juicy. The mashed came with a side of gravy to add as much as or little as you would like. It was chalked full of flavor and I poured the whole thing on everything. Except the the brussel sprouts which killed!! I could have had a whole meal of those, roasted to perfection, some soft some firm with brown and black bits every where. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese which is a signature item here. It's a build your own. Jumbo shells with a very creamy cheddar and fontina sauce. The build part was so full of items to kick your mac and cheese up a level it'd be easier to list the stuff they don't have to top it with. She went for the plain version, complaining the whole time she ate about not adding to hers every time an order came by with something on top. Our server was a little preoccupied with her girlfriend the whole time we were there, awe new love, get a room please. She was curt with us and didn't come by often enough to refill a soda, beer, or the water glasses that sat empty. The food surely made up for her and would not stop me from stopping back in when in town, nor would I allow it to compromise my rating. I'd just ask not to set in her section. We ended our dinner with Drunken Donuts that came with a grand mariner chocolate dipping sauce. Amazing and I don't really care for donuts, I could see myself ordering these every time I stopped in. This was a great find.

On Wednesday, Beer Kitchen’s corporate chef, Michael Peterson, showed reporter Sarah Gish how he transforms russet potatoes into crunchy, golden fries. He also showed off several of Beer Kitchen’s house-made dipping sauces, flavored with everything from garlic and horseradish to malt vinegar and chipotle peppers. Um, yum.

Nothing fancy here. Your typical pub and grub – except the grub is really good. I had the American Kobe beer burger with all the fixings. It was delicious. The bun wasn't cheap and crappy. The meat was cooked just right and had a nice flavor. The toppings were what made it: goat cheese croquette, shitake mushrooms, red onion jam & white truffled micro-greens on brioche bun. Yum. I also had the truffle parm. fries. Crisp, hot, and fresh. Their beer selection is crazy. Sadly, I didn't have one. I rated it 5 stars because there were zero issues. Service was great, and so was the food and atmosphere.

Decent food / happy hour / beer list , astonishingly slow service. The happy hour specials are a great deal and beer cocktails are unique / fun, there's just better options out there.
